FAQs

1 / DO YOU PROVIDE ALCOHOL?

No, not at this time. We are a dry hire bar, which means the client provides the alcohol, due to Washington State laws. Our dry hire model ultimately saves you money (no markups) and you keep all the remaining alcohol. We suggest you refrigerate the alcohol for your event prior to our arrival- we'll handle the rest!

2 / WHAT KINDS OF EVENTS DO YOU DO?

We enjoy serving for all kinds of indoor and outdoor events- private, corporate, non-profit and family gatherings. Our renovated 1973 horse trailer will be a stylish addition to weddings, bachelor/bachelorette parties, birthday celebrations, church, school, and real estate events.

Any Event!

Holidays book up fast, so reach out early. We also love the unplanned moments: elopements, celebrations of life, or just because.

Reach out- we got you!

3 / DO YOU REQUIRE A DEPOSIT AND WHAT IS YOUR CANCELLATION POLICY?

A non-refundable retainer of 50 % of your total and a signed contract hold your date. The remaining balance is due 14 days before your event. If plans change, we'll do our best to reschedule you; the retainer can be applied to a new date within 6 months.

4 / DO YOU HAVE INSURANCE? ARE YOU LICENSED? DO I NEED A PERMIT?

We carry general liability and liquor liability insurance. We are also M.A.S.T certified and hold food handlers permits.

*It is the client's responsibility to secure any permits needed for the event.

5 / DO YOU SERVE N/A DRINKS?

Yes! Energy drinks and Dirty Sodas are very much on-trend and we can craft most cocktails into delicious mocktails! All of our packages are fully customizable and can include coffee, tea, Lotus energy drinks, lemonade... and that beautiful drink you saw on Pinterest!

6 / WHAT DO I NEED TO KNOW ABOUT YOUR SET UP  NEEDS?
  • Our trailer requires room enough to pull in, turn-around and park, or a drive-thru with a parking spot for our tow-vehicle.

  • A flat surface with a radius of 5-8 feet is needed so we can serve your guests and open our doors.

  • The set up location must be within 100ft of an electrical outlet so our trailer can operate, however we do have a generator available for a rental fee if there is no access to power.

7/ How far ahead should I book? Weddings and holiday parties: ___ to ___ months ahead.

Smaller events can often be booked with ___ weeks' notice. If your date is soon, reach out anyway; we'll tell you right away if we're free.

8/ How many bartenders do I need?

Every package includes one MAST-certified bartender and bar back, which works well for up to 65 guests. For larger events, we'll recommend an additional bartender so lines stay short.

9/ Do you check IDs? Yes.

Yes. We check IDs for anyone who looks under 21 and won't serve anyone under 21 or anyone visibly intoxicated. It keeps your guests safe and protects you as the host.

10/ WHY DOES SELAH MOBILE BAR LOOK SO FAMILIAR?

Great question!

Our little beauty of a horse trailer was renovated years ago and operated as Lasso Mobile Bar up until Fall of 2026. It was professionally operated and fully loved so we wanted Lasso's life to continue on as-is, just with a different name that reflects our unique style and personality. Check out our socials to see Selah's amazing history, her fresh new era and all of the fun she's having!
